For freelancers & solo consultants

Get client paperwork signed without a subscription

If you send a handful of SOWs, NDAs, proposals, or invoice sign-offs a year, a monthly e-signature seat is usually the wrong tool. GetItSigned is pay-per-completed-document: upload a PDF, email a private link, and pay one credit only when the last required signer finishes. The first 3 documents every month are free — no card.

What freelancers send most

Statement of Work

Scope, timeline, and fees — get the client’s signature before work starts. One credit covers every signer on the SOW.

NDA / confidentiality

Send a mutual or one-way NDA as a PDF. Your client opens a link on their phone; no account required for them.

Invoice sign-off

Build the invoice in GetItSigned, attach a payment link if you want, and send it out for signature on the same credit model.

Built for occasional senders

Most independent consultants don’t need Salesforce integrations or a 50-seat admin panel. You need a signed PDF back, a Certificate of Completion, and a price that doesn’t bill you every month you don’t send anything.

How pricing works

Every account gets 3 free documents a month — for many freelancers that alone covers the client paperwork. Busy month? Packs start at $3.99 for 5 credits; the $9.99 / 15-credit pack is the one most people pick. Bought credits never expire, and free credits are always used first. Declined or voided envelopes cost $0.

Same legal footing for ordinary contracts

Every completed document includes an ESIGN / UETA-style audit trail and Certificate of Completion (email, IP, timestamp, hashes). That’s eIDAS Simple Electronic Signature (SES) — suitable for ordinary commercial contracts, not deeds or notarial acts.

Common questions

When am I charged?
One credit only when every required signer has completed. Drafts, in-progress sends, declined, expired, and voided documents do not use a credit.
Do my clients need an account?
No. They open a private link and sign on any phone or laptop.
Can I sign a PDF myself without an account?
Yes — use the free fill-and-sign tool. Sending to someone else and keeping an archive needs an account (3 free documents every month).
Is this cheaper than DocuSign for freelancers?
If you send roughly 10–15 documents a year, a $9.99 pack of 15 credits is typically far less than a year of a per-seat subscription. Run your volume in the pricing calculator.
